What does it mean model complexity ?

Number of conditions included into the model defines its complexity.

Complex models have many conditions (up to five in this implementation) and they are rather difficult for human interpretation. Simple models have only one or two conditions, they are easy to interpret but their classification quality measured by sensitivity and specificity values may be relative low.

Selected values are in the range 1-10 and they do not specify number of conditions that will be generated. The value 10 means only that the result will be a solution of maximal possible complexity while for smaller values less complex solutions may be expected.

For datasets with about 100 examples a good experimental starting point is value 7 while for datasets with about 500 examples a good starting point is value 3.

CAUTION: If value 1-4 is selected for very small datasets there is a danger that no model may be generated.
